About Loop Founded in 2016 in Huzhou, Zhejiang, Loop is more than a brand; it is a collective of nature lovers, explorers, and practitioners of a sustainable lifestyle.

A Miracle Grown from the Earth In 2016, we embarked on a five-year journey to build a unique resort in Huzhou. Using earth-sheltered architecture and manual craftsmanship, we created China’s first building complex completely hidden within the earth. Discreet and charming, the structures blend seamlessly into the original topography. This design offers exceptional thermal performance—keeping interiors cool in summer and warm in winter—while the soaring, elegant arched ceilings inside create a soft, ethereal sanctuary for our guests.

Venturing into the Far Wild But the spirit of Loop never stays still. Driven by a nomadic soul, we yearned to take our vision further into the wilderness. In 2021, we transitioned our expertise from architectural engineering to the design and construction of large-scale, handmade tents. Inspired by traditional nomadic dwellings—from the Bedouin tents of the Arabian deserts to the black tents of the Tibetan Plateau—we sought to inherit their organic forms and mechanical balance. By integrating cutting-edge engineering simulation with advanced material science, we aim to recalibrate the balance between civilization and nature.

Wild World Tents: When "Dunes" Met Shangri-La Our first major breakthrough was the "Red Dune." When this massive tent unfurled across the alpine meadows of Shangri-La as a natural showroom for Arc'teryx, its sweeping curves and steadfast lines merged perfectly with the wind and the wilderness. That was the moment many first discovered Loop Tents. Since then, we have launched a series of monumental handmade structures, including "Volcano" and "Great Wave."

The Objects: Micro-Witnesses to a Nomadic Life Amidst these grand explorations, we discovered that the most moving details are often found in the objects we hold. Whether within the hushed walls of our subterranean hotel or under the vast canopy of our tents, essential wares define the ritual of living. Through years of practice and exploration, we have curated a collection of objects that are elegant in form, superior in quality, and uncompromising in utility.

We hope that through these small, soulful objects, we can share with you our vision of a healthy, natural, and sustainable nomadic lifestyle.
